Message Performance wise (especially on the street) the VG wins handily, mostly due to the additional 0.4L.

If the OP meant that it simply looks sexier, then yes I agree. The RB is a more beautiful motor (to my eye). Then again I think almost all v6's are ugly, even the one in the GTR. Inversely I find beauty in the inline engine, especially the BMW N-series and the RB's.

...re-reading that, maybe ugly isn't the right word. My nose crinkles up when I think about working on most v6's. Things are just so much easier to get to on an inline engine.
